Julie Garel has worked as a senior communications strategist on major brands in a variety of sectors, including travel, education, utilities, and health care, for over thirty years. She holds master’s degrees from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University (international business) as well as Harvard University (environmental management) and George Mason University (conflict resolution & peace studies).
She’s comfortable writing in multiple formats including academic, humor, journalism, and essays. During the pandemic, Julie published a children’s book. Her letters and commentary have been published in numerous newspapers.
Julie also has extensive experience facilitating in-depth conversations. She conducted this work as a senior communications strategist for numerous marketing agencies as well as groups navigating challenging topics.
